Occupational Therapy

Sensory integration therapy

Auditory integration therapy
Auditory integration therapy was developed as a technique for improving abnormal sound sensitivity in individuals with behavioral disorders including autism spectrum disorders. Other sound therapies bearing similarities to auditory integration therapy include the Tomatis Method and Samonas Sound Therapy.

Therapeutic Listening is a specific sound-based intervention that is embedded in a developmental and sensory integration perspective. The music in Therapeutic Listening gives the listener unique and precisely controlled sensory information.
